In this post you can find information about the elite level Zone 3 Victory D wetsuit – description and key features from the manufacturer website plus added reviews and experiences from users. The name “Victory” comes not from Victory over your sporting peers, but Victory of the challenge you set yourself in sport, Victory over the tasks you undertake, Victory over the mental challenges every sportsperson faces. The “D” represents distance and is Zone3’s answer to the surge in popularity of long distance swimming and Ironman racing.
Description of Victory D Wetsuit
The manufacturer Zone 3 description of Victory D: “The Zone3 Victory D suit has been designed with the long distance swimmer in mind. For those racing half or full distance Ironman races or longer distance swims – comfort, body position and speed through the water is vitally important. This suit is the choice of pro triathletes such as Ironman and double Olympian athlete Tyler Butterfield who finished 5th at Kona in 2015, Eimear Mullan and Eva Wutti.”
Victory D is a top level wetsuit only for women (in earlier years there were also models for men). Buoyancy – the shoulders, arms, back and side panels use a 1.5 mm or 2 mm thickness for extreme flexibility around the upper body, a 5 mm central chest panel acts as a roll-bar and 5mm thickness used around the hips. Standard manufacturer price €900 ($995).

Reviews about Victory D Wetsuits
Here I gathered different reviews about Victory D wetsuits from different sources. I hope it will help you form your impression about the Victory D wetsuits.
Review on the “Guyjonestriathlon” website, dated November 23, 2014.
Short summary: As a purely unscientific guess, I reckon the Victory D has trimmed 30-60 seconds off my wetsuit 1500m time, and would be proportionally even better over an Ironman swim.
Review on the Youtube channel “Pro BikeKit”, dated May 14, 2013.
